Girlgasmic, mainly directed by Ivan, has its moments thanks to Eva’s, Maria’s, and Aline’s performances. If you like extended lesbian romps, then you won’t be disappointed with scene two, which has a multi-ethnic cast. There’s something for everyone in this scene from Asian to European to Latin! This is a good release that’s just mired with the unpolished scene three. It’s questionable whether this is worthy as an upgrade on Blu-ray as opposed in standard definition. I guess it all depends on whether you are into the cast list.

The video is presented in widescreen 1080 HD and is encoded in MPEG-2 with a bit range 14-16 Mbps with an upper limit of 26 while the audio is encoded in Dolby Digital 2.0 at 192 Kbps. Visually speaking, the fleshtones were inaccurate due to the lighting, which gave it a washed out look. Thankfully, Ivan has minimized this effect in recent releases. Meanwhile, all the sex sounds were heard clearly.
The extras include an option to turn off the music in the main feature and a 26 minute BTS. The BTS, filmed in MPEG-4 AVC, has some nice moments when he’s interviewing Alexis Love about her new H2 modified hummer that makes it look like a pick-up truck. Apparently, she traded in her corvette for one of these suckers. I’m sure she regrets this purchase in light of the price of fuel! For me, this was the only interesting portion of the BTS, which mainly shows Ivan having location issues as well as candid moments with the ladies.
Eva Angelina leads the first scene with the bevy of other ladies including Alexis Love, Veronique Vega, Sindee Jennings, and Brooke Belle. This group is a bit of a mish-mash or too varied since the two ‘younger’ looking women Alexis and Veronique look out of place. Anyway, It begins like any other sapphic lovemaking session with a brief get-to-know-you and your genitals session complete with great foreplay. Soon, the women are one-upping themselves with the use of strap-ons to ante up the scene. For the most part, the ladies seem to have a field day going at it with each other, but clearly the chemistry could have been better. By the end of the scene, it looks as if everyone had their just desserts.

The second scene has a better selection of women starting with Euro-MILF hottie Maria Bellucci heading up the scene with Sativa Rose, Gianna Lynn, Holly West, and Penny Flame. Anyway, it’s good to see Maria Bellucci still doing scenes as nasty as ever in her 10+ years in porn! The scene begins with a nice tease, until the women get down and dirty with each other. Although it was quite brief, I definitely liked the teases from Sativa and Gianna the best! Furthermore, I definitely liked Sativa’s intensity throughout the scene, but I was kind of disappointed that Gianna’s wasn’t quite up there as it should be. Anyway, to me, Marie Bellucci was clearly the lead in the scene when she takes it up the ass and pussy simulating a double penetration. There’s a lot to like for this very long scene, and it’s definitely the scene to watch!
The last scene was disappointing as the cast led by Aline wasn’t as cohesive in chemistry as the rest. With that said, this hodge-podge of veterans and newbies such as Cassidey Essence who coincidentally isn’t in the industry anymore, didn’t really give a great performance. Furthermore, the difference in length with the other lengthy scenes is an indicator of how this scene wasn’t as executed as well as the others. However, in the end, I would have to say that Aline even doing a simulated DP to match Maria’s did the best she could do given the talent she had to work with.
In summary, Ivan had his hands busy making this lesbian extravaganza and having to deal with many issues. I thought he did a great job with the first two lengthy scenes to give the viewer something to watch with two great ladies, Eva and Maria, leading their respective scenes. Things get a little too artificial when it comes to intensity in the third scene. This would have been a recommended if it weren’t for the mismatched talent in scene three. Because of this, I downgraded the video to a RENT IT.
